They pride themselves on being a brewery that truly offers something for everyone. Just because your favorite style of beer isn’t trending anymore, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to enjoy it. Pull up a seat in their tasting room and start exploring an endless range of beer styles, one of a kind flavors, and the history of Swedesboro.
How Did Swedesboro Brewing Get Started?
Swedesboro Brewing Company was founded in 2020 by Philadelphia-natives, Marvin Bowe and Kevin Bain. Like many brewery owners, they didn’t begin their careers in the brewing industry. Kevin comes from a 20-year career as a healthcare professional and adjunct faculty at the University of the Sciences, where he continues to educate on scientific advances and medical breakthroughs. Marvin spent over 20 years in the field of advertising, leading several agencies as a Creative Director, during which time he also taught art at his Alma Mater, Northeast Catholic High School.
With over 20 years of business leadership and decades of home brewing under their belts, the road to Swedesboro Brewing Company was forged.

Marvin stated: “We want to give the community a hometown brewery as a destination to celebrate the history of Swedesboro and enjoy each other’s company while drinking exceptional beer of the highest quality.”

Taste a Swedesboro Classic
We recommend tasting Harker’s Glory, an American Pale Ale. It offers beer fans a pleasant balance between hops and malts, which makes it one of the most approachable and enjoyed beer styles available. Its citrus-like hops and caramel-like malts impart the sensation of a soft body and carry a toasted maltiness throughout. Served ice cold, this ale offers the perfect mild IPA experience for this summer.
