Taking its name from the Delaware Memorial and Commodore Barry Bridges, which traverse the nearby Delaware River, the Two Bridges Wine, Beer, & Spirits Trail takes visitors on a tour through Southern New Jersey. We’re growing too; adding more stops along the Trail, as well as, other hospitality venues. We encourage you to visit the tasting rooms of each of the members to discover the depth and range of craft beverages being produced.
The wineries in this region are part of the Outer Coastal Plain American Viticultural Area (AVA), a federal designation signifying a recognized wine grape growing region that is unique and beneficial to grape growing. The Outer Coastal Plain AVA of New Jersey has climatic and soil conditions which are among the best on the East Coast for producing high quality wine. New Jersey’s nickname, the Garden State, derives largely from the more than 100 year history of growing fruits and vegetables in this area which supplies such produce to the mid-Atlantic region and as far north as Montreal.
The Trail is easily accessed from the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 295, Route 40, and Route 55. Visit the Trail Map page for more details.
We encourage you to stay overnight and enjoy the many different events, entertainment, and dining choices along the Trail. Lodging options range from campgrounds to bed & breakfasts to name brand hotels.
